I’m a Belgo-American self-taught photographer, driven by travel, the outdoors, people, and culture.
After graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Mons in 2014, I left Belgium and spent several months in Nepal and Jordan. That’s where the travel bug really stuck.
The year after, I backpacked solo across South America for over a year. I built my portfolio, met incredible people, and learned more about humanity than any book could teach.
Since then, I’ve been traveling as much as I can, without rushing or counting time.
My goal is to understand a place through the people who live there, their language, architecture, food, and everyday culture.
I’m not interested in rushing from one highlight to another.
I don’t travel to tick boxes or chase an Instagram shot. I travel to experience places deeply, patiently, and honestly.
While current photography trends lean toward desaturation and minimalism, I choose to embrace color in everyday life, adding a vivid, pictorial dimension to my images.
Street photography, landscapes, people, and travel define my visual language.
I previously worked as a content creator for Lonely Planet as part of their Pathfinder program. My work has been featured on the National Geographic website through the Your Shot visual storytelling community, as well as across various travel blogs and online publications.
